I've chosen to rate this great app 5 stars although I've not read it in full. But having seen the useful & surprising content and layout, I couldn't go for less than 5. The request for me to rate the app came at a time I was really short on time, unfortunately. Time permitting, I could give you a further rating either in the short or long term. I enjoy this app very much. It gave me exactly what I was looking for - an app that would send me a notification each day suggesting a different poem. This has vastly widened my reading of poetry and has introduced me to authors I likely would never have heard of otherwise. The number of poems included is huge as is the range of subjects and nationalities represented. I especially love the inclusion of medieval poems. It includes a quiz to test your knowledge which is a fun distraction.
Every poem ever written. and I mean that. Literally thousands. When want to impress, I choose one that I understand and share it 💗. Must be one I understand. I'm a bit of a literalist. But this is the best poetry app ever. JE t'aime beaucoup
It's a great app. The only problem I found is that when I switch to Chrome and back the poem I was reading disappears and I'm back to the list of poets. But that could be an Android thing. Also, I would add Google search to the list of items when you select a word. Google is the number one way of looking up stuff now, including word meanings.
Excellent app. I cannot find a few poems though from my favorite poets, such as "White" - by Walt Whitman, also done by A.S. Hamilton and or a poem To/referring. Or Meister Eckhart 1970-1980. Enough tho. WELL WORTH DOWNLOADING! SURPRISE YOURSELF! LARGE SELECTION OF POETS & COUNTLESS NUMBERS OF POEMS FROM THE BEST OF THE BEST. LOVE THIS APP❤️
This is one of the best app I have ever had, it reminds me of the many poems we studied in school, many poems like "meeting at night" by Robert Browning, "To Autumn" by William Blake, Mowing by Robert Frost and many more. I really appreciate your good works.
